VISTAS conducted annual Intra University Tech Expo “AVISHKAR 2022” on Feb 7, 2022 at Shivalaya Auditorium, Pallavaram campus. During the event, students from different streams of engineering exhibited and presented their 45+ innovative projects to Judges (Dr S Ramesh, Associate professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, SRM Valliammai Engineering College, Chennai & Mr Ashwath Raj, Presales solution Architect, Qlik, Chennai) and Visitors. Komal. P and I Monisha of final year Biomedical Engineering for the project Intelligent crutch tool for body posture management system to avoid injuries won first prize and was awarded a cash prize of Rs 10000/-. S.Navaneethakrishnan, S. Jayesh Subhan and T. Avinash final year computer science and Engineering for the project vehicles using Driver safety Management for Commercial IOT won second prize and were awarded cash prize of Rs 5000/- Abdulsamath G, Lalith Tendulkar and Nithish Y Of final year Electronics and Communication Engineering for the project Automatic multimode floor Disinfecting Robot for COVID -19 prevention won third prize and were awarded cash prize of Rs. 3000/- respectively along with trophies. During the event Ms. Preetha Ganesh, Vice President of VISTAS congratulated the winners and participants. She also motivated the staff team to mentor students with further more need of the hour innovations in next AVISHKAR.
