| B.Ed | 2 Years (4 Semesters) | The candidates should have undergone UG Degree Examination of the UGC recognized Universities in any one of the school subjects (English, Tamil, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, History, Geography and Computer Science) offered by the Directorate of School Education. The candidates who have qualified the P.G. Degree in the subjects in Economics, Commerce, Political Science, with not less than 50% of marks. Candidates, who have done their Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to B.Ed. Degree programme. (Physical Science, Biological Science, Mathematics and Computer Science). Category - wise eligibility of minimum marks: OC - 50% BC/BCM - 45% MBC/DNC - 43% SC/SCA/ST - 40% | Merit based on the percentage of marks secured in the qualifying examination |
| B.A., B.Ed., | 4 Years (8 Semesters) | A pass in the +2 Examination or equivalent of any recognized board (state / CBSE / ICSE) in India with 50% marks in aggregate. Candidate who have appeared in March 2026 qualifying examination are also eligible to apply. A three year diploma in Engineering is considered equivalent to the +2 course for eligibility B.A., B.Ed., (Tamil, English, Social Science) BSc., B.Ed., (Maths, Physics/Chemistry, Biology/Agriculture/Zoology) | Merit based on the percentage of marks secured in the qualifying examination |
