The Career Advancement Cell guides students by providing industry-specific training, enhancing job readiness through real-world insights. The Power My English program strengthens language proficiency, while specialized exam preparation is offered for banking, TNSTC, and civil services. These programs support holistic career development, offering a competitive edge in placements and fostering deeper collaboration with industry leaders for long-term success.

• VERANDA RACE: On 8^th April 2024, VISTAS and Veranda Race signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for a three-year agreement, which includes six sessions per semester. These sessions were offered to all final-year students, with around 150 students registering for the club and benefiting from the program. Additionally, other interested students who hadn’t registered also attended the sessions and made the utmost utility. More than 500 students attended the session and reaped the benefits of the session. All six sessions were engaging and informative for the students. Students gained a clear understanding of study strategies for government sector jobs, including UPSC, civil services, and banking examinations.

• POWER MY ENGLISH: The CAC has signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Power My English to enhance the language skills of arts graduates, equipping them with essential communication abilities to boost their career prospects.

• CAMBRIDGE University Press: CAC has signed an MOU with Cambridge University Press for to offer language and skill enhancement, helping students improve their communication abilities for better academic and professional outcomes through Lingua skill assessment.

• Vels Institute of Science, Technology and Advanced Studies (VISTAS) proudly concluded the “Industry-Academia Connect 2024,” a VISTAS HR Conclave, on August 28, 2024, at its Pallavaram campus in Chennai. The event was a resounding success, bringing together industry leaders, HR professionals, and academic experts for a day filled with insightful discussions and valuable networking opportunities. It also served as a crucial platform for fostering collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing between academia and industry, with the aim of building a future-ready and dynamic workforce.
