Dr. Arthi Ganesh is a multifaceted personality with a vision to create an effective and unique environment for learners at various levels. As the ProChancellor of Vels University and as the Academic Advisor of Vels Group of Institutions, she oversees the function of more than 43 institutions that offer programs from Pre-KG to Ph.D of about 42,000 students with 7500 staff members. Inspired by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Dr. Arthi Ganesh has made Dr. Kalam’s vision of making India a knowledge super power as the mission of her schools.

• Organized Science Exhibitions for Board students of Chennai, Kanchipuram, and Thiruvallur districts every year.
• Provided a broad range of opportunities for her students to be nominated for grant by Deakin University, Australia in academics.

Dr. Arthi Ganesh involves herself actively in developing women and their empowerment by organizing one-day market for women self-help groups and conducting training camps for them, annually. She believes that when continuous efforts are pushed on to an initiative, a successful transformation is inevitable. She organized an awareness health camp on self-examination for early detection of breast cancer. A 450 meter long pink long hair extension was plated to ink in UNIQUE WORLD RECORDS. organized a unique BHARATHAM 5000 dance program for school children mobilized from all parts of Tamil Nadu, enabling the entire crew to stamp their names in Guinness Book of World Records in 2017.

To support Women empowerment, every year she honors women folk with “INTERNATIONAL WOMEN ACHIEVER AWARD” for their tremendous contribution to the society at the Women’s Day’ eve in the field of EDUCATION, SPORTS, PUBLIC SERVICE, MEDICINE, ARTS & CULTURE and ENTREPRENEUR. She was one of the chief guests for WOW AWARD Celebrating Womanhood – 2022

• Dr. Arthi Ganesh managed 10 Kare centers in Tamil Nadu and 4 Kare centers in Karnataka that offers special education to more than 500 differently abled and mentally challenged children
• Organized “Sure Success” for class XII students with the help of subject experts for improving their academic excellence.
• Extended support for the promotional activities in building values among School children through Samskarams by being a part of WALKATHONS and RATHYATRA
• Inaugurated KANYA VANDANAM – an ongoing concept that continues till date for the prosperity of girl child.
• Every year, Lord Venkateshwara Kalyana Utsavam of Thirumala Thirupathi Devasthanam is celebrated for the world Prosperity and peace.
• Donated books and stationery items to underprivileged children for promoting literacy through WORLD FEST DAY celebration on an annual basis
• As a great philanthropist, she serves the society at large and empowers under privileged women sector through SELF HELP GROUP BAZAAR
• Being a great humanitarian, she has whole heartedly supported in establishing Isari Velan Mission Hospital in Thalambur, Chennai.
• She developed herbal and organic farming at all campuses of Vels to make an eco friendly environment.
• She installed a solid waste management technique to convert the waste into useful bio manure & bio gas.

• Visited Tower School, Kent LONDON, UK through BRITISH COUNCIL’S Connecting Classroom Project. Instrumental in Promoting Academic Excellence in all Schools besides enhancing all round personality in children.
• Instigated about 12 clubs in Vels Group of Schools for the holistic development of the students. Initiated links with Deccan Chronicle to bring out monthly newsletter “VELS DARPAN” through Papyrus Club.
• Collaboration with “The HINDU” and “TIMES OF INDIA” for NIE (Newspaper in Education) Launches VELS FILM CRAFT for the benefit of VISCOM students every year.
• Provides platform for International Universities to conduct University Fair for the school students to explore various career choices under one roof.
• Initiates Career Counselling Programs for needy children with special counsellors at free of cost. Played a key role in conducting a workshop on “Prevention and Response to Sexual and Gender-based violence” and “Safe child and Safe India” in association with Common wealth, London, held at VISTAS.
• Trustee in IMCT (Initiative for Moral and Cultural Training), an organization that inculcates values by sowing the seeds of culture and heritage amongst the learners.
• To unwrap the students’ hidden talents, she hosts VELS NAKSHATRA – Inter University Cultural Event
  every year
• Her brain-child VSAT (Vels Scholarship Admission Test) is conducted every year to distinguish the young and bright minds who are given 100% scholarship to pursue bachelor’s course of their choice at VISTAS
