Dr. Jaisree Anand, a globally certified hospitality educator and administrator, has significantly impacted programs worldwide. She serves as Expert Panel Member for various Indian universities. As a Certified Educator from the Educational Institute of the American Hotel & Lodging Association, she has implemented teaching and learning principles throughout her illustrious 30-year career. Her academic contributions are well-received, and she has orchestrated numerous workshops, conferences, and seminars.

With an extensive educational background that includes a Ph.D., certification as a Hospitality Educator from the American Hotel & Lodging Association, a Master’s in Tourism Management, and diplomas in Hospitality Management and Catering Technology from IHM Mumbai, Dr. Anand has brought fresh perspectives to education across India. Recognized for her excellence as an academic administrator, teacher, and trainer, she is also known as a great team player, effective speaker, group facilitator, problem solver, and disciplinarian. As a leader, her goal is to inspire teachers, professionals, and students to become self-sufficient and motivated learners and leaders. Currently, Dr. Jaisree Anand is a Professor and Dean at the School of Hotel and Catering Management, Vels Institute of Science Technology and Advanced Studies (VISTAS), Pallavaram, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
