Dr. P.Rajesh

Dr. P. Rajesh, a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Physics at D.G. Vaishnav College, Chennai also holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular Spectroscopy, conferred by Pachaiyappa’s College, Chennai, under the auspices of the University of Madras in the year 2015. Dr.Rajesh’s academic prowess extends beyond this, as he achieved the 98^th rank in the National Eligibility Test for Lectureship(NET-LS) in the year 2017. His Ph.D. research focused on ‘Quantum Chemical Calculation and Spectroscopic Analysis of Some Pharmaceutical Materials’, showcasing his specialization in diverse fields, notably including Medical Physics, Plant Extraction (Utilizing Spectroscopic Techniques), and Theoretical Physics. Dr. Rajesh is now working as an Assistant professor& Head, Department of physics, Vels Institute of Science Technology & Advanced Studies VISTAS, Chennai. He has boasts an extensive academic tenure spanning over 10 years, primarily in the realm of teaching. Simultaneously, he has been an active participant in research endeavors, accumulating a prolific publication record, which includes the publication of 50 papers in both international and national journals and has h-index of 9, i10 index of 8 with 200 citations. Additionally, he has authored three books and has exhibited remarkable academic influence, as evidenced by his notable article score.He has guided 9 research scholars in his credit. He is associated as a Member in Indian SpectroPhysics Association (ISPA)
