Dr. R. Priya Anand, M.C.A., M.Phil.,Ph.D., Professor & Head ,Research Supervisor in the Department of Computer Applications, VISTAS(Vels University), Chennai since 2007. She is an University rank holder in both UG & PG programs (B.Sc-Computer Science & MCA) at Bharathidasan University, Thiruchirapalli. She holds 24 years of teaching experience and 15 years of research experience. She has published nearly 90 research papers in International and National journals and published 5 patents. She is associated as a member of

ASET Journal of Management Studies, IAENG (International Association for Engineers), Associate Member of International Institute of Organized Research (I2OR) – with Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India (UDYAM-PB-20-0002405) . She has presented many technical papers in National and International Conferences and won many best paper awards . She has produced 8 Ph.D. scholars. Her area of interest in research includes Data Mining, Machine Learning, Health Informatics, Data Science & Analytics and Information Security.
