Dr.RadhaMahendran

Dr.RadhaMahendran holds a double post graduate degree. She completed MSc. Microbiology and later MTech Bioinformatics and she also holds a Doctoral degree from DR ALM Post Graduate Institute of Basic Medical Sciences, University of Madras. Her field of Specialization includes Structural Bioinformatics & Microbial informatics. Her current major research areas includes Genome analysis, Molecular Modeling and Computer aided drug designing using natural compounds. She has 21 years of teaching experience and published more than 80 articles in reputed national and international journals. She has also published several books and patents in her area of research. To her credit she guided 3 research scholars. She is also the recipient of the Asian Pacific Bioinformatics Network Grant award during 2014. Also received Academic Excellence Award and Best Faculty awards from various educational agencies. She has experience in working with various research projects & biological databases and tools development. She has organized several national and international workshops & conferences and has coordinated various technical events and faculty development programs. She is also serving as an editorial member and reviewer of various reputed journals. She serves as a professional member in various reputed educational bodies and forums like INSA Institute of Scholars: lifetime membership and Global professor welfare association.
