Dr. S. Pichaiah

Dr. S.Pichaiah, a Master degrees from Annamalai University, Chidambaram, also holds a Doctoral degree from Annamalai University, Chidambaram, in 2017. He has 18 years of experience and has served in various capacities as Assistant Professor, Head of the Department, Senior Hydro geologist, Geologist, etc., both in the reputed institutions and organizations and presently severing as Head of the Department, Faculty of Petroleum Engineering, VISTAS, Chennai since July 2018. He is a multi-expert of Applied geology, Civil Engineering, and Petroleum Engineering subjects. His research interests include Reservoir characterization, Environmental impact studies, Remote sensing and GIS applications, Hydrogeological studies, etc. He has guided / supervised more than 40 final year students of under graduation for his credit. He has published 8 papers from his research findings in national and international peer reviewed journals indexed in Scopus, UGC, Google Scholar, etc. He is associated as a Member in International Association of Engineers (IAENG), International Association of Hydrological Sciences (IAHS), Technical member in Groundwater Relief’s.
