Dr.Valarmathi Subramaniam is a highly experienced professional in the media and film industry with a strong academic background. She has held various positions such as Video Editor, Post-Production Head, and Head of Department in institutions like Sathyabama University, VIT, and L.V. Prasad Film and TV Academy. Dr.Valarmathi has also been involved in documentary filmmaking, sound design, screenplay writing, and book authorship. Her expertise lies in teaching media-related courses, incorporating innovative methods, and focusing on real-life applications. She has published several research papers and participated in numerous conferences and faculty development programs.

She has associated with film personalities director Balumahendra and Rajivmenon at their institutions. She received an environmental award from Spritainment for her documentary on “The Voice of Sparrow” and Perumaimigu Padaippaali for her Novel titled “Semman”. She is the first to author a poem book using AI-generated photos referring to a model.
