Dr. S. Vennilaa shree holds a Doctorate degree in Commerce, she has more than 29 years of teaching and research experience. Presently serving as Professor and Head in Department of Commerce (CS) at Vels Institute of Science, Technology and Advanced Studies, Chennai. She was honored with the Best Academician Award in 2023 in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the student community. She received the Excellence in Teaching Award in 2022 as an acknowledgment for fostering a dynamic learning environment. Being an expert in Strategic Human Resource Management, her current research interest includes Blockchain technology, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, cyber security in industries. She has authored more than 70 academic research articles in Scopus and other UGC listed journals, has published 7 books and published 10 Patents. She, as a competent result- oriented academician, possesses excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills with proven abilities to successfully manage a team and designing the curriculum. She is presently serving as editor in SRR publishing research, SS- Hill Research Publishing Corporation and Internal Journal of Social Relevance and Concern. She is external Board of Studies Members of Shrimathi Devkunvar Nanalal Bhatt Vaishnav College For Women, DG Vaishnav College, Sri Kanyaka Parameswari Arts and Science College for Women. She is an external Academic audit member in Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College (Autonomous). She is an external advisory committee member of SRM Merchant Club. She is a Grooming Convener, member of Academic counsel, Institutional Grievance Redressal Committee, Central Admission committee, Students Affairs Advisory Committee, Discipline Committee, Examination Squad, Anti-Ragging Squad, Certificate and Price distribution Committee of Vels Institute of Science, Technology and Advanced Studies, She is an expertise resource person to various colleges and universities in Tamil Nadu. She produced 6 Ph.D. scholars and guiding 8 scholars for their Doctorate.
