Ethics Committee

The University Policy Manual on Ethics (Code of Ethics) serves as the official institutional framework for promoting, implementing, and sustaining ethical governance across all academic, administrative, professional, and institutional activities of VELS Institute of Science, Technology & Advanced Studies (VISTAS). The manual establishes a comprehensive system of ethical principles, policies, procedures, and accountability mechanisms designed to foster a culture of integrity, transparency, responsibility, fairness, inclusiveness, and excellence throughout the University.

The primary objective of this manual is to establish a common ethical framework applicable to all members of the University community, including students, faculty members, researchers, administrative staff, officers, statutory bodies, committees, consultants, alumni, and external stakeholders. The policies contained herein provide clear guidance on acceptable professional behaviour, ethical decision-making, institutional responsibilities, conflict resolution, confidentiality, accountability, compliance, and continuous quality enhancement.
