Vels Institute of Science Technology and Advanced Studies provides a residential facility to more than 1,000 students on campus. The International hostel has a grand roof for Students from diverse cultures such as Nigeria, Lagos, Netherlands, South Sudan, Egypt, Rwanda, Gulf countries, Ethiopia, Eritrea. We also offer state-of-the-art hostel facilities with world-class amenities and a conducive learning environment.

There are five hostels such as UG men’s hostel, UG women’s hostel, PG men’s hostel, PG Women’s hostel and International Students hostel. Rooms are provided with 2 to 4 occupants with necessary amenities. Air-conditioned accommodations are also available with neat & hygienic Mess hall or dining facilities . Nutritious meal along with a diet plan is given to the students Multi cuisine catering for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian along with Indian food is provided. To attend a medical emergency a doctor and a qualified medical attendant are always available on service. Laundry services are also offered. Hostel students have a distinct advantage of utilizing Library facilities from 8 am to 8 pm. Hostel day and separate Sports events are organised for hostel students. Students can also make use of the Wi-Fi facility available. Screening of movies on Saturdays at the university auditorium acts as a stress buster to students. Over 100 staff members are headed by a residential director to ensure students’ safety and maintain Hostel discipline.
