Mr. D. Rohan Kumar

Mr. D. Rohan Kumar, is a Post Graduate from Loyola College (Autonomous), Chennai and holds M.Phil degree from University of Madras, Chennai. He has 11 years of teaching experience, having taught in Saveetha School of Law prior to joining VISTAS in 2018. He has served in various capacities such as Academic Chairperson, Member of Internationalization Committee, Member of Board of Studies etc., in his previous workplace. His research interest is in the area of International Relations and International Refugee Law. His current area of research is related to fostering Indo-Japan relationship. He has published research papers in national and international journals. He has visited the United Kingdom, Malaysia and Singapore on official visits. His research on inclusion of Climate Refugees under the ambit of definition of refugee was well received at the Refugee Law Conference held in University of London. He is a life member of Indian History Congress. He is currently the HOD (i/c) of B.A., LL.B (Hons.) programme and also Associate Dean of Student Affairs of VISTAS.
