Mr. T. S. Arvind Kishor

Dr. T S Arvind Kishor, a Post Graduate in Ships and Offshore Structures from Department of Naval Architecture Ocean and Marine Engineering (NAOME), University of Strathclyde, UK is also pursuing a Doctoral Research in Offshore Subsea Systems. He has 7 years of teaching experience and has 2 years of industry experience presently severing as Head of the Department, Faculty of Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering, VISTAS, School of Maritime Studies, Chennai since 2018.  He has specialization in modules like Subsea Systems and Installation, Offshore Structural Dynamics, Theory, Analysis and Design of Marine Structures, Hydrodynamics Resistance, Propulsion. He is proficient at using software like ANSYS – Workbench, Auto CADD – 2D Modelling, Rhino – 3D Modelling, Maxsurf, ANSYS, and Orcaflex. After joining as an assistant professor, he has been guiding the students in various academic and innovative projects.
