Mr. V. KARTHIKEYAN

Mr. V. Karthikeyan is a distinguished academic and legal professional with a profound expertise in Criminal Law. He holds an impressive array of qualifications, including a BA, LLB, LL.M in Criminal Law, and a Ph.D. in Law. His doctoral research focused on “Custodial Violence in India with Special Reference to Chennai District – Critical Analysis,” underscoring his commitment to addressing critical issues within the criminal justice system. With 7 years of dedicated teaching experience and 3 years of active practice in various courts across Chennai, He combines academic rigor with practical insights into the legal profession. He currently serves as the Assistant Professor and Head of the LL.B Program at the School of Law, VISTAS, Chennai. Mr. Karthikeyan has made significant contributions by presenting and publishing numerous research articles in the field of criminal law. His expertise is further recognized through his role as an adjudicator in state and national level Moot Court competitions, conducted in both English and Tamil. In addition to his academic and legal contributions, Mr. Karthikeyan serves as a legal expert member of the Ethical Committee for the School of Pharmacy at VISTAS. His guidance has been instrumental in supervising several LL.M dissertations from VISTAS and Madras University. His distinguished career is marked by his unwavering commitment to legal education, research, and the advancement of criminal law in India.
