FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME ON SOFTSKILLS
Two days of soft skills training was conducted for the English department faculty, facilitated by Dr. Annie Sam – Professor & Director-Training. This training aimed to enhance communication and interpersonal skills among the faculty members, contributing to their professional development and effectiveness in teaching and training.
Day I – (19-8-2023)
Forenoon session:
- Introduction to Soft skills
- Personality – concept, self-awareness.
- Tips to develop personality
- Etiquette
Afternoon session:
- Interpersonal relationship
- Transactional analysis a key to develop relationship

TRAIN THE TRAINER WORKSHOP ON QUANTITATIVE APTITUDE AND LOGICAL REASONING (31/08/2024)
A one-day Train the Trainer workshop on Quantitative Aptitude and Logical Reasoning was conducted for the math faculty members, led by Dr. N Vanathi – Associate Professor & Head of Training, Career Advancement Cell and Mr. S. Nishok, Quantitative Aptitude Trainer. This workshop aimed to enhance teaching methodologies and deepen the faculty member’s understanding on Quantitative aptitude skills and reasoning skills, by using tricks and short cuts. This helped our faculty members to equip themselves to prepare the students for the competitive exams.
FACULTY ORIENTATION WORKSHOP ON CAMBRIDGE INTERCHANGE LEVEL-3 CURRICULUM (27/07/2024)
VISTAS faculty members were given an orientation on the Cambridge Interchange Level-3 Curriculum. This workshop aimed to enhance faculty understanding of the curriculum and to learn the teaching strategies, aligning with international standards in language proficiency.
FACULTY ORIENTATION WORKSHOP ON CAMBRIDGE LINGUASKILL ASSESSMENT (31/08/2024)
VISTAS faculty members were given an orientation on the Cambridge Linguaskill Assessment. This workshop aimed to enhance faculty understanding of the assessment process so that the students can be guided based on the assessment and be prepared to get a high score.
