“V FUND WOMEN 2024 – A start-up pitch competition for women entrepreneurs“, an event for aspiring women entrepreneurs with a burning passion to create their own identity in the start-up ecosystem.
Following are the details in connection with the above event:
· Any woman with a viable business idea can apply for ‘V Fund Women 2024’.
The last date to submit the proposal is 25th February, 2024.
· 3 selected winners will be duly awarded with a seed fund of Rs. 2 Lakhs each and the mentorship required to enhance their business.
Selection Process:
1. Prelims: A jury of successful women entrepreneurs will shortlist applicants based on submitted business ideas.
2. Finals: Shortlisted finalists will pitch their proposals in front of the jury at VISTAS campus, Pallavaram during the first week of March.
3. Results Announcement: Results will be announced on March 7, 2024 in a grand ceremony.
Seed Fund Details:
• Three winners will receive Rs. 2 lakhs seed fund each.
• Repayable in 10 equal instalments after one year.
• Mentorship and support to enhance the business.

We hope the proposed event will bring together women entrepreneurs to pitch their best business ideas on a common platform and to meet investors, receive support, advice to reach their business goals. Hence all the Deans, Directors and HoDs are requested to bring this to the notice of all faculty and students concerned. Every department should contact women entrepreneurs known to them and ensure that at least 5 women entrepreneurs register for V Fund based on references of each department. The details of the women entrepreneurs contacted and registered should be forwarded to the undersigned on or before 9.2.2024.
