Ministry of Culture, The Government of India organized integrated ongoing mega activities of India’s Science and Technology eco-system under the banner of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav to commemorate the country’s 75th year of Independence. To play an active role in this event, VISTASin collaboration with Vigyan Prasar, DST, New Delhi, Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, and Ariviyal Palagai, Tamil Nadu Science and Technology Centre, Govt. of Tamil Nadu, organized a Popular Science Lecture on “Creating Sustainable Educational Ecosystem” on February 26, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Shivalaya Auditorium, for all science and technology discipline students.Around 520 students from VISTAS’ several schools (Engineering, Computing Sciences, Life Sciences, and Basic Sciences) took part in the event.

Dr.Janardhanan Gangathulasi, the Chief Guest, spoke about the Sustainable Educational Ecosystem.He conferred Outcome-based Education (OBE), collaboration with intra-departmental Projects,Internships, Teacher Student bonding and Gender Equality. Dr. P. Sujatha, covener of this event delivered the vote of thanks.
