This International Women’s Day 2023 is indeed an unforgettable celebration for VELS University!

We are proud to celebrate and honor the great women of our society  and to recognize the achievements and  immense contributions to our society by conferring the “VELS Women Achiever Award 2023” to below distinguished women at the VELS Campus on Women’s day.

Ms Priya Rajan- Mayor, Greater Chennai Corporation, Tamilnadu

Ms Ramya Bharathi- IPS officer, Joint Commissioner, Chennai North Zone

Dr Saveetha Rajesh- Director, Saveetha medical College and Pupil Saveetha Eco School

Ms Sudha Kongara Prasad- Indian Film director and screen writer

Dr. Arathi Arun- Commonwealth powerlifting champion

On International Women’s day. VELS also recognised the upcoming super women entrepreneurs, the VFund 3.0 startup pitch 2023 winners, Ms. Anandhi & Dr. R Mala (Founders, Anandhamayaa Green solutions), Dr. Anitha Jebamalairaj (Founder, The Cedar Bioinfomics) and Ms. Kundavai Arivudainambi (Founder, Eduzo) who were awarded with a 2Lakh seed amount for their innovative and futuristic ideas.
