Ph.D ADMISSIONS

VISTAS invites applications from highly motivated, research-driven candidates for admission to the PhD Programme (January 2026 Session) in departments where vacancies are available.

• Full-Time Ph.D. candidates will be given top priority, encouraging immersive and impactful research.
• The Vels Research Fellowship is offered to eligible Full-Time Research Scholars and supports scholars throughout their research journey.
• Candidates qualified in UGC/CSIR/ICMR/DBT/DST/NET-JRF/SET, AICTE-GATE, AYUSH/INSPIRE Fellowships are exempted from the Ph.D. Entrance Examination.
• Selection will be based on a Common Entrance Examination followed by a Personal Interview, with academic merit and research potential as criteria.
• Last date for applying for Ph.D (January 2026 Session) is extended up to 31.01.2026
• Entrance Examination for Ph.D., (January 2026 Session) will be conducted on 07.02.2026
