School of Education was instituted in VISTAS in the year 2016 with the clear vision of promoting excellence in Teacher Education at different levels such as B.Ed., and B.Sc.B.Ed. To start with, the School of Education initiated the Two Years programme, viz., B.Ed. and Four Years Programme, viz., B.Sc.B.Ed (PCM) & B.Sc.B.Ed (CBZ) after getting recognition and approval from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). These programmes started functioning from the Academic Year 2016-2017. The Course Structure Curriculum for B.Ed. (Two Years) for all Optional Subjects (Pedagogy) and B.Sc.B.Ed. (Four Years) are designed as per the NCTE Norms/ Framework. Both the courses will follow the Semester Pattern as per the Regulations of VISTAS. These courses possess all professional criteria including in-service teaching practice with practical examinations. Campus Interviews have been conducted every year and our students have been placed in reputed institutions with good remuneration. In the year 2018 Ph.D programme was introduced and provides students with advanced knowledge and expertise in the field of study. They become experts in their area specialisation and develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
