Vision

To be an academic institution in developing equilibrium with social life, economic environment and ecological, striving continuously for excellence in Fire Safety and Hazard Management and technologically Advanced Fire Service and Hazard Management to the country.

Mission

  • To sustain and create a community of learning in which the students acquire good knowledge in fire safety and hazard management and learn to apply it professionally with due consideration for ethical, human life & property safety issues.
  • To provide knowledge based technological fire safety and hazard management measures to meet the infrastructural urban development needs of the society and the industry.
  • To help in building national capabilities in fire safety engineering, security management, disaster management, hazard management industrial safety education and research to ensure a fire safe nation.

Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs)

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OUTCOME(PEO)

PEO 1: B.Sc fire safety and hazard management course is targeted toward the students who want to get jobs in the safety departments of various private and public companies, become a hazard consultant, fire safety instructor, etc. Students will be taught about how to handle a fire disaster, safety and hazard prevention methods, fire control techniques, among other things.

PEO 2: B.Sc fire safety and hazard management is a very practical oriented course, and the students will get a hands-on experience of almost everything that is taught in the classroom through safety drills and industrial visits.
